I have had my fair shares of winning moments when it comes to giveaways and contests, so today in hopes of helping out my fellow giveaway enthusiasts, I’m sharing with you some of my secrets. Well not really secrets but these things definitely contributed with my success. LOL this looks like I’m talking about how to chase your dreams.
1. Join as much giveaways/contests as possible. It’s true that the higher the entries, the higher the chances of winning. If you joined five contests, you might win at least one of them. You can search ongoing giveaways by literally looking up the hashtag giveaway on Twitter and Instagram. Just make sure you keep a tab on all the contests you’ve joined so you don’t miss the announcement of winners. 2. You must follow all the rules. Those people hosting the giveaway really do check if you follow their rules. There was this one time when the winner got disqualified because she didn’t follow the rules so they had to pick another winner. 3. Create a separate account if you plan to join a lot of giveaways. With this account, don’t just post giveaways entries. Post other stuff too so it doesn’t look like a giveaway account. The reason why you should make a separate account is because you will annoy the shiz out of your friends if all you post about are your giveaway entries. 4. If it’s a contest where you have to answer a question, be creative and witty. Chances are there will be loads of entries and the host will never be able to get through all of them. You have to make your answer stand out. Be funny. Also try to get as much likes as you can even if it’s not required, it helps in making your comment stay on top. 5. Be active on social media. Try to like/retweet as much post of them as possible. This way, they will be aware of your account and you’ll get their attention. You might win because of your strong engagement. That’s basically the main reason why they hold these giveaways anyway, to give back to people that support them.

I used to be that person. When I started making my twitter account, I thought those who have a lot of followers were cool people. It is as if your twitter ratio matters. The rule is that you should have more followers than following. Well I am no expert here but based from my 6 years on Twitter, these are the things that I have observed to be working.
1. Tweet relatable stuff If you tweet relatable stuff, there’s a big possibility that people might retweet you. When they do, their followers will see your tweet. Chances are they might also check out your account and they might decide to follow you... then they might also retweet you... and the cycle will continue. 2. See what’s trending Watch out for whatever is trending in your country or worldwide. Tweet something about it. Use your wits. If people agree with your opinion, they will retweet or like you. Your tweet might even go viral. This way, people will check out your account and some of them will definitely follow you. 3. Be an active fan/update account Fan/update accounts usually have a lot of followers. It is because people who are on the same fan base follow them. Since this fan/update accounts post updates and pictures about their idols, other people tend to follow them to be updated as well. These are also the fan accounts who post memes and everything relatable about their idol. 4. Do giveaways A lot of people watch out for giveaways. And when you do giveaways, one of the rules could be to follow your account. Another rule could also be them retweeting you. That way, more people will know about your giveaway which means more followers. 5. Follow more people You might want to do this if you don’t even check your timeline. If you do, this will surely bother you. Following a lot of accounts will make your timeline messy. But this thing works that I even see some verified accounts doing this trick. I know Bart Baker does it. He followed me once. He seemed familiar and I checked out his account for me to find out that he’s a YouTuber. I decided to follow him back but after a few days, he unfollowed me. That’s one of the ways he gains followers. There’s no guarantee that all people will follow you back but at least half of them will. Then you can just unfollow them after some time. 6. Search for follow trains This will affect your image so do this at your own risk. Follow trains are those tweets with “Follow everyone who RTs” or “RT for 100 free follows”. There’s also no guarantee that all people who RT will follow you, or if you RT that tweet, you will really get 100 followers. But there is no harm in trying. Some accounts still do this. But as I have said, it will affect your image since your followers will see that you RT those tweets and they might think that your followers are not real. These are just some of the tricks that work on Twitter. Like what I said, I used to think that those who have more followers are way cooler but now I don’t. For me, Twitter isn’t a venue for who’s got more followers or not, it is a platform where I can be myself. My family doesn’t know I have Twitter. This is where I post about random and nonsense stuff I just want to get out of my head. But if you want more followers, you could just do the things I listed above. I have done some of those, too. Just a reminder that you should not get validation based on the number of followers you have. You are cool in your own weird way. If you have balding eyebrows and eyelashes just like me, that is probably the reason why you are here. Am I right? Amirite?? You might be like “eh, that’s not balding”, but gurl that’s close up you can even see my large pores. Tragedy awaits when I zoom it out. So there, I searched for natural ways where I can grow them and I came across this product called Castor Oil. I bought mine in Watsons last January 2017. I forgot for how much but it’s incredibly cheap I think it I got it for more or less Php50. Since then, I have started using it. But I get lazy most days so I do not apply it religiously. Only when I remember lol. So now it’s been like 4 months and here are the results. There is no drastic change but if you look closely there has definitely been a hair growth. My eyebrows and eyelashes have been thicker. (I’m sorry I don’t pluck my eyebrows. I don’t know how and I’m scared I’m just a smol bean lol. Pls forgive me.) You can also see that I have milia on my right eyelid. I thought it was hopeless and I would just have to live with them forever. So I am shocked when I saw this comparison. I found out that castor oil is also good with getting rid of milia. So all in all, I give this product a 4/5 rating. It surely makes a difference but it definitely takes time for you to actually see it. You need to be patient. As I have said I do not use it regularly but it still has an effect on me so what more if you include it in your daily routine? Plus it has a lot of benefits and uses. A bottle of this product can last you a long time. I definitely recommend it and I would absolutely continue to use it and maybe I can post another update? Before. After.
